“WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) – A former Wheeling police lieutenant has been sentenced to probation in a case in which he was accused of having a sexual relationship with a teenage student at a school where he worked.

Phil Redford, 43, pleaded guilty Thursday in Ohio County Circuit Court to one felony count of possession of material depicting a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Under a plea agreement, Redford must register as a sex offender and have no contact with the victim for three years. Redford and the victim previously told the court they were engaged. She attended Thursday’s hearing.”

There are a couple of points to be made here:

One is that cops assigned to be school resource officers are not exactly the best and the brightest that the force has to offer

Many times they have a history of incompetence and abuse and are assigned there to try and keep them out of trouble

It is not the smartest idea but the thin blue line turns into a wall of silence when it comes to cops who are incompetent

The other point is this:

A deed, not a badge makes you a hero

No, they don’t “Risk their lives everyday”

All this guy risked was his livelihood because he couldn’t help but diddle an underage girl

A uniform , a gun and a badge does not make you a hero

More likely it makes you a person who wants to put other people under their control

And who else fits that profile?

How about a bully?

They love to control, but they are cowards and will never pick a fight they can’t win

How about a wife beater?

Control, control, control and they will beat you and threaten your life to have it

How about child molesters?

They have no control in life so they go after children

They cannot have and control  a real woman so they substitute a minor who they can mentally steam roll

The next time you look at a cop

Don’t look at the badge or the uniform

Look at the man

And wonder who he really is

Maybe he is not a molester, a murderer, an abuser or some other type of degenerate

Or maybe he is

To perve :Cop busted for producing obscene material with dog

“A Harris County sheriff’s deputy is out of a job after a shocking allegation and an obscenity charge, authorities said on Monday.

“The allegation involves production of obscene material that includes sexual contact with a dog,” said Dane Schiller, a spokesman for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.

Andrew Sustaita Jr., a six-year veteran of the force, was relieved of duty after his arrest for the state jail felony, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Sustaita, who was most recently assigned to the Crime Control Division, was identified as a suspect after investigators found out about obscene online material coming from an account based in Harris County. ”

“The Sheriff’s Office’s High Tech Crime Unit investigated the case and determined that Sustaita was allegedly involved in producing the obscene online material.

“The possession of obscene and illicit material is made even more troubling when a Sheriff’s Office employee is found to be involved,” Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in a statement.”

So, here is the point:

One day before Officer scumbag got arrested

He was full fledged LEO

He was a sworn officer of the state and the court

He could decide whether to arrest you

Or whether you lived or died

You never know who the man behind the badge and gun is

He could be a hero

Or a despicable pervert

Next time you look at a cop

Think of this guy

There is no default “Hero” status

Hero is deed

Not dress

….Poor doggy

How deep the corruption goes: Former LA sheriff to be re-tried

aaeaaqaaaaaaaaweaaaajdy2n2yxodiylta0ndmtngrmos1hnmu2ltu2zdywota0yjq5yg

“Federal prosecutors announced Tuesday they will retry former L.A. Sheriff Lee Baca for obstruction of justice and conspiracy after his trial last month ended in a hung jury.

At the new trial, scheduled to begin in February, Baca will also face a third charge – false statements, which had been previously severed from the case.

“We think it’s best to rejoin the counts,” prosecutor Brandon Fox told Judge Percy Anderson.

The defense took issue with the move to rejoin, saying it was extremely rare.

“The matter is closed,” Anderson told the defense. “That’s what we are going to do.”

Prosecutors accused Baca of being ‘the heartbeat’ of a conspiracy to thwart an FBI investigation into inmate abuse in the county jails, which the sheriff oversees. But Baca’s defense attorney, Nathan Hochman, told jurors at the last trial the plan was masterminded by then undersheriff Paul Tanaka and carried out in secret from the sheriff.

Prosecutors presented evidence that put Baca in conversation with conspirators, but during deliberations, jurors questioned whether the sheriff’s involvement was illegal. Eleven of the 12 jurors wanted to acquit Baca of obstruction of justice and conspiracy. When the jurors could not reach consensus, the judge declared a mistrial.

“Traditionally, many 11-1 cases have not been retried,” Hochman told reporters after retrial was announced. “Why the government wants to do that, you should ask the government.”

Baca was once among the most powerful men in law enforcement and ran the country’s largest sheriff department for 15 years. He retired in 2014, not long after the U.S. attorney in Los Angeles announced charges against his employees.

Those deputies were accused of hiding an FBI informant, moving him from cell to cell and shrouding him under false names to make it difficult for the FBI to investigate claims of brutality in the jails. Sheriff’s deputies also put an FBI agent under surveillance, showing up outside her home and threatening her arrest.

Nine individuals were convicted or pleaded guilty for their roles in the scheme, including Baca’s second-in-command, Paul Tanaka.

Earlier last year, prosecutors offered Baca a deal in exchange for pleading guilty to making false statements to the FBI, but the judge rejected it as too lenient. That led to the December trial, when prosecutors called many former sheriff’s deputies to testify against Baca.

Baca is accused of lying to federal investigators in 2013, when he told them that he didn’t know there was a civil rights investigation, did not participate in plans to keep the inmate informant from the FBI, and was unaware deputies were going to approach the FBI agent at her home.”

It is not just your beat cop or patrol man

It is the nature of the person who desires power and control over others

Power corrupts and absolute power

Corrupts absolutely

There needs to be a fundamental change in who is allowed to be a cop

We need public servants

Not domestic warriors

We need people who want to serve the community

Not “Bust the heads of criminals”

We need men and women who want to serve and better America

People who are part of their community and for their community

Poll: 93% Of Officers Fear For Their Safety While On The Job

https://storage.googleapis.com/tcg-content/infomania/2015/09/Are-Police-Too-Scared.jpg

“Most police officers believe their job has become more dangerous in light of recent fatal encounters between cops and black people, a poll reveals.

A Pew Research poll released Wednesday surveyed 8,000 male and female officers across the country to get their opinions on policing, the recent protests against officers and their thoughts on using force against civilians.

Eighty-six percent of officers surveyed said the recent high-profile encounters between police and black people have made their jobs more difficult. Only 12 percent believed the encounters did not make a difference.

In light of these encounters, 93 percent of officers are also more fearful for their safety while on the job.

Seventy-six percent of officers said they were more unwilling to use force when necessary, while 72 percent are less willing to stop and question someone who seems suspicious.

Officers also gave their thoughts on the protests surrounding fatal police shootings. Sixty-eight percent of cops believe the protests are due to an anti-police bias. Only 10 percent think that the protesters really want police to be responsible for their actions.

When it comes to the job, some of the officers expressed frustrations with being a cop. Fifty-one percent said being a cop vexed them, while 56 said they had become more callous because of the job. About 66 percent of officers described being verbally abused while on the job by a citizen.”

So let’s make a correlation here
Police deaths were at an all time low at the beginning of 2015
Deaths of citizens killed by police were at an all time high
Now there are record breaking shootings of police
Could the two be related?
C’mon, it’s not rocket science

The thin blue line: Welcome to 2017

Times they are a changin and that’s for sure

The people that you are sworn to serve and protect have had enough

They have had enough lies

Enough abuse of power, false testimony and physical abuses

Enough swaggering bravado, hiding behind a badge and a force of 400 other men

Enough of citizens being shot down like dogs every time a cop quakes with fear

Welcome to 2017 and the times that will be changin

Every move you make will be recorded and played back when your sworn testimony differs

Everything you do will be watched and judged by the people who pay you

Even now, tens of thousands of videos of abuse, beatings and killing are played every year

Every year they are watched by the masses; men women and children who are appalled and horrified by what you are capable of

Welcome to 2017 when your default hero status is stripped away

Welcome to the beginning of the age when all you can incite is fear

But not respect

When your every indiscretion is recorded

Times they are a changin

And believe me

I will do my part to help make them change

See what happens when you abuse a law abiding citizen?

See what happens when you lie?

I hope you enjoy the fruits of your actions

Welcome to the video age: Scumbag cop resigns after being caught on video punching woman in the face

“The Flagstaff police officer seen punching a woman in the face in a video that circulated on social media in November resigned Wednesday after the department recommended he be fired.

The resignation comes the day after the Northern Arizona University Police Department forwarded its investigation into Jeff Bonar, the officer on the video, to the Mohave County Attorney’s Office, which will review the investigation and determine if Bonar should face criminal charges for his actions.

The report, written by Mike O’Hagan, a sergeant in the NAU Police Department, said Marissa Morris, who Bonar and Coconino County Sheriff’s Deputy Joel Winchester were attempting to detain, was not showing “active aggression” or “aggravated active aggression” as the officers attempted to detain her.

The incident occurred in November when Bonar and Winchester were at Morris and her boyfriend’s home on East Blizzard Way to ensure the two were complying with an eviction notice.

According to a report filed at the time, Bonar recognized Morris because she had warrants out for her arrest in non-violent cases. Records show Bonar attempted to arrest Morris on the warrants, which had already been settled at an earlier date and were no longer outstanding.

“It does not appear that the level of force used in this case is reasonable, or immediately necessary to make the arrest,” O’Hagan wrote. “Since Officer Bonar’s first closed fist strike does not come immediately after an aggressive action of Morris, it is not timely, nor is it appropriate for the situation.”

Flagstaff Police Chief Kevin Treadway said the department’s internal affairs investigation found six policy violations against Bonar, the majority regarding excessive use of force.

“The level of resistance by Miss Morris during this incident did not warrant the head strikes used by Officer Bonar,” Treadway said.

Treadway said Bonar also violated policy by not activating his body camera.

“I find no excuse for him not activating his camera and it is a clear violation of our policies,” Treadway said.”

What a dirtbag

He certainly made sure that his body camera was turned off

But in the end it didn’t matter

He still got recorded anyway

Make sure that any interaction you might have with LEO is recorded

If not it is your word against theirs

And remember, they are “Sworn officers of the court” and their testimony is given the weight of truth
